U.S. Senator Mike Rounds from South Dakota has extended an invitation to former President Donald Trump to attend the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. In addition to attending the rally, Rounds has invited Trump to a concert at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip with its founder and CEO, Rod Woodruff.

Rounds highlighted the significance of the venue, stating, "The Sturgis Buffalo Chip is among the most iconic venues in the nation, attracting tens of thousands of enthusiasts." He emphasized that it is "a must-see experience," characterized by American pride and powerful motorcycle engines.

Senator Rounds expressed his enthusiasm for hosting Trump, remarking that "South Dakota is Trump Country" and expressing confidence that Trump would receive a warm welcome if introduced on stage during one of their concerts.

If Trump accepts the invitation, he would be the first sitting president to visit the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The last presidential visit to South Dakota was when Trump attended a fireworks show at Mount Rushmore in July 2020.

In his letter to Trump, Rounds mentioned that this year marks the 85th anniversary of the rally and anticipates drawing participants from across the country and worldwide. Next year will also feature significant celebrations for America's 250th anniversary.

Rod Woodruff has been included in communications regarding logistics and any questions Trump's team might have about attending.
