5.1% of Walworth County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Walworth County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 135 people out of the 5,355 living in Walworth County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Walworth County has increased compared to the 4.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Walworth County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.2%.

Of the 2,493 people who had a job during that time, 34 were employed in the Armed Forces and 2,459 belonged to the civilian labor force.
