2021 has 2.2% of McPherson County residents unemployed

McPherson County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 24 people out of the 2,245 living in McPherson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in McPherson County has increased compared to the 1.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in McPherson County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.2%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
