3.9% of households in White Lake received food stamps in 2020

White Lake ranked 239th in South Dakota for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were seven White Lake households (3.9 percent) who received food stamps. White Lake's population was 437 in 2020.

The cities with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state were Allen, Wounded Knee and Manderson-White Horse Creek. In these cities, 100 percent of households received food stamps - 96.1 percent more than White Lake.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Ethan, which had one of 144 households receiving food stamps, 3.2 percent less than White Lake. In 2020 the population of Ethan was 328.
