There was a single gas station in cities across Beadle County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.69 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 18, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.

The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Beadle County was $2.81 per gallon.

Of the 16 reported gas stations in cities within Beadle County, three offer regular gas.

The average reported price of regular gas in South Dakota was $2.85, compared to $2.74 the week before.

Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
