In 2023, the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) awarded a total of $153,000 in grants for economic development projects in Lyman County, South Dakota.

The only grant in the county—$153,000—was awarded to the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe of the Lower Brule Reservation.
