McKinley Ave., between Cleveland Ave. and Reen St., will close to through traffic on Monday, Oct. 17 for underground utility work.
The project is expected to be complete in early November. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
The city maintains 80 miles of street, more than 100 miles of water main, and more than 60 miles of sanitary sewer. Each year, city staff assess the streets, in addition to utilities, sidewalks and curbs to prioritize street maintenance and reconstruction projects.
