On behalf of the Faulkton Area Economic Development Corp we would like to invite you to a “Stakeholders Meeting” on Thursday August 25th beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center.
The mission statement for our organization is to “Create, Grow and Expand opportunities for current and future residents by engaging all of the Faulk County Community”. So staying true to our mission statement we are in hopes that this stakeholders meeting will engage the community and provide us with input, from a diverse group of residents, on how you feel we can continue to create, grow and expand opportunities.
We periodically go through a strategic planning session to help us stay focused on issues that are important to the community both short and long term. Prior to our planning session, we wanted to get input from residents of the community on what “you” feel are issues that need to be addressed to keep our community moving forward. We have been told by many people that our community is viewed as one of the most progressive and forward thinking small communities in the state. Facilitating the event will be Nick Fosheim and Kristi Wagner from Dakota Resources who serve as our community coaches. We hope you will make an effort to attend. Your input can help assure that we have a place for our kids and grandkids to call home.
