Census Bureau: More men than women in Alpena in 2020

Of the 400 people living in Alpena in 2020, 49 percent (196) were women and 51 percent (204) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central South Dakota News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 37. In the 65 and over age range, there were 62 females and 34 males.
