Census Bureau: More men than women in Fort Pierre in 2020

Of the 2,487 people living in Fort Pierre in 2020, 43.2 percent (1,074) were women and 56.8 percent (1,413) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central South Dakota News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 175. In the 65 and over age range, there were 267 females and 304 males.
