Of the 120 people living in Hitchcock in 2020, 50.8 percent (61) were women and 49.2 percent (59) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central South Dakota News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 14. In the 65 and over age range, there were 13 females and 25 males.
