City of Canton recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Canton, South Dakota is seeking qualified candidates for a Public Works Street Maintenance position performing a variety of duties. Primary duties involve general operations of water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, storm sewer maintenance, and overall system construction and repair.
Secondary duties include maintenance and repair of City streets, traffic lights and signals, parks, rubble site, building maintenance as well as equipment maintenance and repair, and responds to emergency situations involving disruptions in City services, snow and ice removal, etc.
