Of the 426 people living in Presho in 2019, 46.5 percent (198) were women and 53.5 percent (228) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central South Dakota News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 148-to-114. In the 65 and over age range, there were 58 females and 36 males.
