Sinte Gleska University enrolls 511 undergrads

At Sinte Gleska University, 62 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 71 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Mission enrolled 583 students in fall 2018, including 511 in undergraduate and 72 in graduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Dakota.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as American Indian or Alaska Native (95 percent) and white (5 percent).
