Senator Mike Rounds, who represents South Dakota in the U.S. Senate, shared updates on meetings with local organizations and constituents through a series of posts on March 11, 2026.
In one post, Rounds expressed gratitude for meeting with representatives from the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation: “Thankful for the chance to visit with South Dakota folks representing the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation. Appreciate them taking the time to come in and share their story.” (March 11, 2026).
Later that day, he discussed his engagement with veterans’ advocates: “Had a productive conversation with representatives from the American Legion Department of South Dakota. Thank you @LeaderJohnThune for hosting the discussion on how we can better support our veterans and those currently serving in uniform.” (March 11, 2026).
