Senator Mike Rounds, representing South Dakota in the U.S. Senate, recently shared updates from his activities across the state on social media, highlighting engagement with local communities and institutions.

On September 2, 2025, Senator Rounds posted about a meeting with regional leaders: “Great to join Sioux Metro Growth Alliance for their Mayors Coffee to hear an update on communities in the Sioux Falls area.”

The following day, he visited his alma mater and reconnected with university leadership. On September 3, 2025, he wrote: “Good to be back on campus at my alma mater South Dakota State University! Had a great time catching up with SDSU president Barry Dunn.”

Rounding out the week, Senator Rounds participated in a discussion hosted by a local business organization.
