On July 17, 2025, Senator Rounds highlighted a meeting with a former intern and student representative: “Great to see Griffin, a previous intern in our office, and a student representative for the South Dakota Board of Regents. We are proud of our work alongside them in getting MadLabs accredited for Dakota State University students.”

The following day, July 18, he posted about engaging with healthcare professionals: “Met with South Dakota members from the Physical Therapy Association and discussed key issues impacting their profession and patients, including Medicare Payment Reform.”

Rounds has served as one of South Dakota’s senators since 2015.
