Senator Mike Rounds, who represents South Dakota in the U.S. Senate, posted several updates on December 10, 2025, regarding his recent activities and engagements.

In a tweet from the morning of December 10, Senator Rounds announced an official request for an inquiry into mail delivery issues in his state. He wrote: “NEW: This morning I formally requested an investigation into the persistent issues with United States Postal Service delivery in South Dakota.

Later that day, he shared details about a meeting with young constituents involved in workforce development programs. According to Rounds: “Had a great time with this South Dakota group from Jobs for America’s Graduates. They were eager to learn more about this level of government and the work we do here in the Senate.” (December 10, 2025).

In another post that evening, Senator Rounds described a discussion with Justin Tupper of St. Onge, who is president of the US Cattlemen’s Association. The senator stated: “Met with Justin Tupper from St. Onge who serves as President of US Cattlemen’s Association. We discussed our shared efforts to support cattle producers and American beef. Appreciate his leadership.” (December 10, 2025).

Senator Mike Rounds has previously focused on rural infrastructure issues such as postal service reliability and agricultural advocacy as part of his legislative agenda.
